Converge plans headlining tour with Some Girls, Modern Life is War, Blacklisted, Kylesa, Gospel

As if attempting to top the bone crushing power of their upcoming tour with Mastodon, Converge has announced plans for a fall headlining tour in support of their sophomore Epitaph release, No Heroes.

The pioneering chaotic hardcore band will be joined on the tour by Some Girls, Modern Life is War, Blacklisted, Kylesa and Gospel.

No Heroes follows 2004's You Fail Me, as wel as deluxe reissues of the band's classic duo of albums, When Forever Comes Crashing and Petitioning the Empty Sky.

Weird. I heard the Some Girls/Oath tour was back on but I have no idea what the dates are.

I am just dumb and tasteless enough to travel out of state to see them.

I don't know about that. Das Oath and some girls toured last year. Plot and Some Girls were touring together, but now it's only plot

American Nightmare>Some Girls>Give Up the Ghost

Seriously, "We're Down..." is one of the most overrated HC records of all time, American Nightmare era was awesome though. Some Girls are completely different and I just like them better than GUtG.

I use GUTG to refer to American Nightmare out of respect. I only got into them after the name change, so I don't have any business calling them AN. It was another time and another place I wasn't a part of.
