"I know you said no more reactions, but eh. It's been circulating around the internet and my school and frankly I think it's momentus. I saw something today I rarely thought I'd see, the punks at my school turned their flag patches back up, I "fixed" mine today as well and I'm going to keep it there. I urge you to do the same, for one week, lets not see any upside down flags on our jackets and bags. It's not what we need now."
Good for you guys, this shows there's more to all of us than just attitude.
Respect for the dead is one thing; Nationalism is another. Nationalism which has been at the root of many wars, and it looks like many more to come. I highly recommend reading this article published in ZMag by Noam Chomsky, whom you may know of from his involvement with the G7 Welcoming Committee. His views sum up my own on the aftermath of this subject. - Shindo
