Mint Records has announced the lineup for their CMJ Music Marathon showcase. The Vancouver label will hold the event this coming Thursday, November 2nd at Union Hall in Brooklyn. They'll feature the Awkward Stage, Novillero, the Bicycles, and Sparrow (Jason Zumpano of mid-90s Sub Pop act Zumpano). Jason's Zumpano bandmate and current New Pornographer Carl Newman will DJ.
Also, to celebrate the label's 15th anniversary the Mint catalogue, featuring acts like Neko Case, the Evaporators, Maow, the Smugglers, Pansy Division and many others, is on sale via Canadian indie downloads store Zunior. Mint Records (16 comments)

I think this label released that New Town Animals album I have, that albums kicks a whole load of ass. If they didn't that album is still so good. 3+ Replies
