Hazen Street (Madball, H2O, New Found Glory) chosen for WWE Survival Series

According to World Wrestling Entertainment, Hazen St's track "Are You Ready" is the otheme song for this year's WWE Survival Series.

The band features members of H2O, Madball and New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert (though not "officially") and released their debut, Hazen St in 2004.

Though many had assumed the band had split up, the band announced in August that they were working on new material again.

I cant wait to read all the negative crap that people are going to post about Hazen Street. I think that their cd was one of the best albums to come out in a long time. Because the members came from hc bands (madball, h2o, cro-mags, bad brains) I think people assumed that Hazen St was going to be a hardcore band. They ARENT a hardcore band, and thats ok. They shouldnt be a hc band, because thats what they have their other bands for. This is good melodic punk with shades of hardcore and some hip hop. As long as you can take it for what its worth I think you'll find that its actually quite good music.

you know, now that a few years have passed i'll admit that when it came out the first cd was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, but i would never claim that it was actually good

It has nothing to do with them coming from HC bands. The music is an embarassment to anyone who touches it. It's horrible. You must live in a trailer park in the midwest to appreciate this stuff

I really used to like the Ultimate Warrior as a kid.
But after finding out the he's actually kinda nuts and that he legally changed his name to Warrior and that now he tours the country giving speeches about Republican ideals and other jargon dealing with his own beliefs, I got really bummed.

Yeah, that was one helluva run-on sentence. But oh well...

Survivor Series used to be the greatest when I was young (early 90s, when I was 6 or 7).
By the time I stopped watching wrestling five or six years ago, they were filling all the teams with second-rate jobbers, and the teams were always haphazardly thrown together. The old teams were always the best.

at least you can admit your band does... i blame hazen street on crumby new found glory and h2o offerings plaguing it (lets face it, the last from both right before Hazen St. came out were gawdaweful) and freddie's need, yet inability, to sell out correctly... the saving grace is hoya, how can you not love a dude big enough to make a bass look like a uakalalie
