Throwdown have announced that they'll be releasing a new album entitled Venom & Tears sometime in spring through Trustkill. The band is currently still writing for the release and have got "around 26 'songs' that are in various forms and stages from 'all fuckin done' to 'well I've got this one riff that's pretty sweet.'" Recording is slated to begin in late January/ early February.
Venom & Tears will be the follow-up to last year's Vendetta. Trustkill Records (30 comments)

I wonder if it will sound exactly like their other stuff. 1+ Reply

My friend is into hardcore. He gets personally offended when I speak down about bands he likes. 3+ Replies

Here in Monterrey,MEXICO last week some guys were robbing a bank, one of them got caught, and he was wearing a THROWDOWN sweatshirt, it was on the news, i saw his picture on the newspaper, turned out to be a guy from the local HC scene...you never know! 1+ Reply

After Throwdown toured with Lamb of God and Shadows Fall continueously for like 2 years they went downhill. Metalcore with shitty vocals is NOT good. They need to realize this. 2+ Replies

I hope this is more like Haymaker than Vendetta. I would like to see Throwdown return to their roots a little and cut out the boring 5 minute songs that made Vendetta so blah. 1+ Reply

So i assume your supposed to "Throwdown" to this band while listening? that's like a ska band being called "skank."

This bands music reminds me of cottage cheese, its very chunky. I dont like chunky, I like creamy. Tom Jones is the shit. You all know it. 1+ Reply

Though this band is completely horrible in my humble opinion, the suburban moshcorewewearnewerahatsandbaseballjerseysandknowshitall kids who think Earth Crisis started straight edge will be bustin a nut, so i guess thats good for them

Throwdown is great music to get completely shitfuck hammered to. I think the irony makes the drinks more potent. | Features
