Catch 22 has announced a few shows to round out the end of the year. The popular New Jersey-based ska/punk act will be joined by Whole Wheat Bread, Patent Pending and Bomb the Music Industry!.

c22 have gotten a lot better live and have learned that faster doesnt always equal better. and the rest of these bands are amazing live so i think ill be there

If whole wheat bread were white, and thus couldn't use the 'hi were black people and we lay punk rock when i say whole wheat you say bread!.' thing then they would never get on bills like the souls one and this. Nothing against them as people, just musically they really arn't very good.

What bands use American Apparel hoodies? I have ones by Against Me and Lifetime, but I would like a new one, probably a nice brown one -- I really like the AA ones though.

Do their hoodies suck less ass than their t-shirts? My friend got me one of their shirts for a gift and it was the smallest large I'd ever seen (that then shrunk when washed) and was about as thin as fucking tracing paper.

Maybe some of the other ones are better but the one he got, the "summer shirt" is lame. Maybe it's the bright red yarn stiching that looks like it was done by Muhammad Ali, or (as I mentioned) the fact that it's freaking paper thin (you can literally see right through it).
Like I said, maybe their other shirts are better but this one looked like complete ass.

what's the deal with Bomb the Music Industry? I know they make their own merch and ... do alot of shit on their own... but do they sound good? do they have some crazy live appeal? if i'm an rx bandits and streetlight manifesto fan what are the odds that i'll like BTMI?

They don't sound like RXB or Streetlight, but most fans of those bands (myself included) like BTMI. If you know Arrogant Sons of Bitches, it sounds like that, but less horns and more synth.

Jeff Rosenstock, thier singer/songwritter/guitarist/etc, is fucking insane live. Granted though, I haven't seen 'em in over a year. A always enjoyed them/ASOB live.

I am a fan of ska, but honestly Catch 22 is just pure shit. If you like Catch 22, I feel bad for you. I've seen them multiple times snd they are just horrible. (Never went to a show of theirs to see them)

You're right. Catch 22 is horrible live. Of course, everyone used to like Keasbey Nights. I did too... then I turned 10.

WWB is like any ultra poppy punk band but people just go because they're black.

Patent Pending is a musical abortion. I saw them once and I was debating whether or not to go to the bathroom and cut my dick off. It might have been less painful.

BTMI! I have never gotten to see live, but they are currently my favorite band along with Defiance, Ohio. Fuck BTMI! is amazing. I wish I lived up north like a sumbitch.

The Hartford Date also has a reunion show from West Beverly (members went on to Dropkick Murphys, In Pieces, Staring Back, Punchline, The Stryder etc), The Flaming Tsunamis, Jay Tea (ex ASOB) Tip the Van, and more!
