Dim Mak Records have signed "Southern California garage-punk forebearers" the Willowz. The band is set to release their Dim Mak debut Chautauqua on March 20th and is currently preparing for European tour early next year.

Though I was underwhelmed with both their Contaminated Records single, and their Sympathy For The Record Industry LP, I must say this band is pretty fucking good live. Also, Their bass player is so very hot. The Z at the ind of the name is pretty lame though, but whatever.

Their last album was top 100 in 2005 for Rollingstone. they can bring it but are snoozxers most of the time. |
