The Black Dahlia Murder lose drummer

The Black Dahlia Murder have announced that their drummer Pierre has left the band to "persue a more secure lifestyle." Regarding his departure, Pierre noted, "My trip with Black Dahlia Murder as come to an end. Thanks to everyone who supported me during the last year, I had the best time of my life!"

The band is currently seeking a replacement for Pierre:

So here we are again on the hunt for a drummer… fun fun fun!!! We need someone dedicated; who knows for sure that the touring life is for them, and we need them as soon as possible. Relocation is a must, but not necessary immediately. We have an album to finish writing and many tours to go on. Fear not my children, the BDM will ride again. I have been a good friend of Zach Gibson's for several years and after his experience with your band, I don't think I could recommend jamming with you guys to any musician I respected in good faith. Good luck in your search, but you're barking up the wrong tree asking Dislimb for any help.

Your boy Zach Gibson is a pig-fucker and was by far a huge disappointment on the account of him being a juvenille, unproffessional, and the type of guy who never gives a shit what the rest of his bandmates say or think. He was kicked out of a band he ultimately doesn't give a shit about, and we're the bad guys.

With an attitude like that, it's no wonder you've gone through so many band members. I don't know where all this hostility came from either. I also find it a bit odd that a well established band on a major label would ask an underground band who has to fight tooth and nail for everything they earn for some help. Surely, it can't be THAT difficult for you to find a drummer. Just tell them you'll put them on MTV, that should do it! And I never said "you were the bad guys" as you put it. All I said was that Zach was a friend of mine. Hell, if you did the slightest bit of homework you would have noticed that our bass player is in Zach's band, Mutilated too. But what do you care? You probably have a music video shoot to get to! Cheers!
