Media: Capital posts one new tune, one Dag Nasty cover

Capital has posted rough mixes of two new tracks on their MySpace page. One is a demo called "Out of Business" while the other is a cover of the Dag Nasty track "I've Heard." The tracks come from their upcoming split with fellow laaaawnguylanders Crime In Stereo to be released on State of Mind Recordings. The split was originally announced in September 2005.

The band signed to Revelation this past August and will release the followup to Signal Corps (Iron Pier) in 2007.

Amazing band. New song is very good.
Cover is pretty amazing, Tommy's vocals are so clear and well enunciated...perfect tweaking from the original.
Can't wait, though I just wish this was a solo 7" because Crime In Stereo bores the hell out of me.

I'd take Take My Chances, This is Hell, Thieves and Assassins or Capital over CIS.
That Invade bands' demo is really good as well.
Not super into the Agent stuff...but I haven't heard their record yet.

living on long island and seeing most of these bands ive come to the conclusion that crime in stereo, latterman, this is hell, capital, and the agent are the best long island bands around right now

wish the drum fills were a little more up in the mix though. sounds a little empty.

ill def agree with take my chances and thieves being awesome.
but i really do find crime to be great, i havent heard this is hell yet.
and capital are just fucking good
