Big D split w/Brain Failure release info, limited colored vinyl planned

The upcoming split from Big D and the Kids Table and China's finest punk export, Brain Failure, will be released February 20 via Bad News Records. Big D's prior home, Springman Records, will be releasing the split in its vinyl format, on colored wax limited to 1,000 copies shortly after. More news on the vinyl release date as it becomes available.

Big D just finished recording their new album, titled Strictly Rude, which will be released through their new label, indie juggernaut Side One Dummy Records. The album is expected to be released around March or April of next year.

Rancid and planet smashers tonight! the show fuckin' kicked ass! and check out the new kings.. Fuckin' lead singer is like.. 50 years old and can rock the fuck out of anyone, and plays a mean trumpet too!

I saw them last night with Rancid, they played 4 new songs that kicked a whole lot of ass. There was melodica in 3 of the 4 songs too, which was sweet. Rancid was good too.

Unfortuantely, China's best punk bands will never be heard by most people in the USA. Like the average Chinese person, these bands will never be granted passports or visas. Brain Failure, on the other hand, was able to visit the USA 5 separate times this year. Why? Because the singer's father and grandfather are fat cats in the Communist Party. He could probably get away with murder if he wanted.
