"The Satanic Surfers announced that they've been rehearsing with a new drummer named Martin "Snake" Svensson. Fear not! Rodrigo is still very much a part of the band, but will only handle the vocals from now on. In more Surfers news, they're currently working on a new album and are aiming for a late March release. For the full story, check the Official Satanic Surfers website."
Just for the record, about a zillion people submitted this. I didn't realize the Surfers were so popular... Bad Taste Records (7 comments)

Weird that so many people like them, cuz they really suck some major ass! ESPECIALLY rodrigo. Hopefully the new drummer is better than him. BTW they´re from my hometown and I´ll probably be working some time at Bad Taste records the next summer :) Rock on folks! 2+ Replies

He was a kick arse drummer AND a singer, his voice is what grabbed my attention in the first place, but yes, people wear out over time. Tough job for the guy filling his drumming shoes though....... | Features

Yeah I submitted it as well. so the surfers are gonna be a 5 piece now..rodrigos' already seasoned voice should improve now that he's not playing the drums..believe me i've tried playing the drums and singing folks...It's fuckin hard. Takes a lot of coordnation I don't have. Especially as fast as the surfers play.
