Boston's Street Dogs have been added as openers to 2007's edition of the Green 17 tour with Flogging Molly. The irish-influenced punks announced the dates earlier this month.
However, this does mean that the 'Dogs will be canceling their West Coast mini-tour in January and they will be postponing their European Vacation (Big Ben!) to coincide with their inclusion in the Grozerock festival. The band has been touring relentlessly in support of Fading American Dream, their third album. DRT Entertainment (34 comments)

Yawn! I've seen this touring line up way too many times......Both of these bands are becoming old news. There is only so much of this Irish Celtic crap that people can take. 2+ Replies

Why do the Street Dogs insist on not going to Chicago? I already made the trek down to St. Louis to see them at the Gargoyle (and Wash U just isn't the place to see a punk show). I mean, the Bouncing Souls made the trip worth it, I'm not sure Flogging Molly would.

looks like im heading up to Boulder after all. Street Dogs were so fucking good when they opened for Bouncing Souls, their "cover" of Get Up was a fucking blast.

One of the consistantly great live bands out there right now. My favorite DKM stuff was with Mike McColgan anyway, so it made perfect sense that the Street Dogs would be just as good, if not better and to me, I'm right. I see them whenever I can, can't wait for the new album! 2+ Replies

I gotta say it but if you're gonna make a European Vacation joke you gotta get it right. It's "Look kids! Big Ben! Parliament!!!"

These shows will definitely be good. Both of these bands put on solid live shows and I hope I can catch one of the shows.
