As a holiday gift the Adored have dug a rare song from the vaults and posted it for download via their MySpace page. The track is "Let Me Take Your Foto," a cover of a 1979 song by New York power-pop / punk act the Speedies. The band describes the recording as "a messy, sloppy, rough, self-produced homemade demo that we did for fun once after discovering the song and loving it."
The Adored released A New Language last year via V2 Records. They've been on the road supporting it since, touring with the Damned, the Epoxies and Buzzcocks among others.

The Adored are a great band and they rarely mention their hardcore roots specifically, it's all very vague in their bio. It was sort of pathetic to watch them open for The Damned since many of the "too cool scenesters" didn't want to have anything to do with them and they put on a great show. I heard a guy in line saying "go get your drinks during the first band, they're fucking boring". Hardly the case at all. 1+ Reply
