Details, music from Big D and the Kids Table / Brain Failure split

Along with their upcoming new full length, Big D and the Kid's Table will be releasing a split with China's Brain Failure. The 12-song split features six tracks from each band.

The split CD is entitled "Beijing To Boston" and will be available via Bad News Records on February 20th. The vinyl will see a release via Springman Records soon after. Dicky Barrett (Mighty Mighty Bosstones) and Marc Orrell (Dropkick Murphys) make special appearances on the Brain Failure tracks. soz, i'm bound by the terms of my the record company and more importantly I could get fired. it's worth buying though if you're a fan of Big D. Brain Failure is pretty good too, and the Dicky Barrett guest vocal is really cool.

I have both Beijing To Boston and Strictly Rude, and trust me, the ska Beijing To Boston lacks, Strictly Rude makes up for. And very well.

I hear ya dude, the new album is quite rocking. It's too bad it leaked so early, these guys actually do need (and deserve) the cd sales. I'm going to preorder it whenever it becomes available.

i think youre mistaken, they never had any alternate titles in mind for this split. are you thinking of another release? maybe your thinking of a Brain Failure album, i dont know much about them but that London Ting you mentioned sounds familiar

I downloaded Strictly Rude. I'm a fan of dub, so it was one of the best albums I've ever heard. Ever. If you're a ska-Big D fan, you'll be disappointed.

I got the advance one too. I'm not a big Big D fan, but I love Brain Failure. Their tracks on it are pretty kickass, albeit maybe a little overproduced.
