Big D editing DVD, shooting videos, playing shows until the cows come home

Big D and the Kids Table cannot be stopped. Hot on the heels of their upcoming debut for Side One Dummy Strictly Rude and their split with Beijing's Brain Failure the band is currently editing their first DVD. Guitarist Sean P Rogan is promising hundreds of hours of footage and thousands of photographs along with unreleased songs from the past ten years.

The band is also flying out to LA soon to shoot videos for the tracks "Noise Complaint" and "Shining On" from Strictly Rude. They're also promising 100 live shows having been scheduled up until the end of August.

this has been a very good week for big d news.. u got the concert up on fabchannel, some cool stuff up on youtube and now finally some info on the DVD that we have all been waiting for :) I love this band and I hate all of you, kiddddddddding

These guys have more of their life on film than most reality tv "stars". Still, I like them. I don't get the hype around here but they're certainly alright.

It's pretty damn good, but far from "the best" of anything... except maybe a Big D full-length.

"Shining On" is my favorite song on there, so that's cool that they're making a video for it.

Yeah, this was one of the instances where I didn't want it to leak, especially not so early. These guys deserve the support more than anyone. Is there anywhere you can preorder it besides Interpunk?

I had the promo CD for this since January and I absolutely love it. Any ska fan would be crazy not to own this. It'll be mad cool to see these songs performed live so hopefully I can head to one of these shows.

All that's left to do is have The Pietasters come out with something new for this year and it'll be a great year for ska.

I hope this DVD has more live footage (especially from smaller shows) and less stupid interview type footage that seems to be the norm with music DVDs.
