Acerbic Noise Development is set to release a split between Philly's instrumental math-magicians Dysrhythmia (Relapse Records) and London's minimalist sound-sculptors Rothko. Dysrhythmia will be re-working a 13+ minute version of "Earthquake" from their self-released Contradiction album. Rothko matches them with "one introverted drone-a-thon" apparently.. Both bands are finishing their recordings up, and are looking to have this out in August of 2007.

this should be really interesting. I wonder if Dysrythmia will tone it down or if this realease will be the equivalent of a dillinger escape plan/ ben kweller split. or maybe Rothko will "drop a calm bomb." speculations abound | Features

"one introverted drone-a-thon"
It might just be me, but when I see "droning" and "thon" in the same word, I have to say no thanks.
