Another new song from The Almost (Underoath, Sunny Day Real Estate)

The Almost have released another track from their debut album Southern Weather which will be released through a joint venture between Tooth & Nail and Virgin Records. The band began as the solo project of Underoath drummer Aaron Gillespie and features collaborations with Sunny Day Real Estate singer Jeremy Enigk as well as The Starting Line's Kenny Vasoli.

The band will also be supporting the album on this summers Warped Tour.

Yeah, you really shouldn't bill this as "(Underoath, Sunny Day Real Estate)." It's just the dude from Underoath -- no one from SDRE is in the band, and Jeremy Enigk only sings backups on one song.

The last Punchline record had guest appearances from members of Bayside and Yellowcard on it, but that doesn't mean you'd bill it as "Another new song from Punchline (Bayside, Yellowcard)."

Enough with the misleading already!

Agreed. Please don't taint an amazing band like SDRE by grouping them with Underoath any more than is absolutely necessary.

i heard Jeremy and the dude from underoath didnt even meet. He was just joking with his producer saying, 'wouldnt this part be awesome with jeremy enigk from sdre singing?" and a few sessions later, he was on it.

i think this is a scheme by both fat mike and underoath to sell more records. "hey we don't agree on some stuff. lets start a fight and bring a bunch of news/soap opera drama to it and get rich yea!"
