Tours: Methadones / Copyrights

A number of dates have been announced for the upcoming tour featuring the Methadones and the Copyrights. The trip takes them through the sunny mid-west this May and over to the Northeast.

The Methadones will be supporting their recently released power pop cover album 21st Century Power Pop Riot, whereas The Copyrights will support their upcoming Red Scare debut Make Sound.

The Copys have been busy lately, between prepping their debut for Red Scare, Make Sound, signing on to the Single Series bandwagon and appearing on the upcoming Pop Punk's Not Dead compilation. Anyone else remember when they were featured as an Mp3 of the Week here at Punknews.org last year?

No one get too excited about the Ottobar in MD. Its on both their myspace pages but the owner of the club says there is already something booked. Who knows whats up with that. No worries tho, the methadones will be back there on july 7th, count it!

Watch out. Last year I celebrated my 25th seeing the Copys and woke up at 4am in a bus stop near the Tenderloin in San Francisco. It was amazing.

I said that... and I will be there. Based on the turnout for shows like this I have seen in the past in the Tavern, I'm assuming a lot of other people won't. I'll see you guys with The Queers in Akron too. Don't suck.
