Bad Taste signs Log

"Bad Taste have just signed Log, a band that has won "best song of the year" on a demo show on swedish national radio, along with a number of other best demo, demo of the month aso... they've only released three demos so far, but the debut album on Bad Taste "Every Time A Bell Rings An Angel Gets His Wings" will be out jan 21. The sound? Calm, beautiful and extremely well played lo-fi pop according to the label..."

because Bad Taste Records is one of the best and most underrated labels in operation today and anything they do is newsworthy to some people.

that's a shame. They're home to a lot of great bands, including the Satanic Surfers, who are the best thing to come out of Sweeden since Borje Salming. Astream broke up after 3 albums, 2 splits, and 1 ep...just as they were hitting their stride. Intensity are getting better all the time, and Within Reach have replaced Raised Fist as Sweeden's best kept secret. Oh, and Trigger Happy are Toronto legends.

sorry, i'm not thinking this morning. Of course it's spelled Sweden. Now you know how canadians feel when you're called an idiot who kant speel when you mention Kanata (i don't live near ottawa by the way). And if Gretzky can have his own shitty clothing line at the Bay or Eatons or something like that, why can't Borje sell underwear? true story: After mentioning offhand that the Senators played in Kanata (where the Corel Centre actually is), a sports news show got a call from an angry viewer claiming that the anchor didn't know how to pronounce his own country's name.
