Vice talks to Andrew WK

Vice Magazine's online network VBS.tv has posted a new four-part interview with beloved hard partier, Andrew W.K..

Andrew has kept busy with a number of recent projects, though none are music related. Beginning tomorrow, he will be hosting a scavenger hunt at SXSW and is currently in the midst of a three week spoken word engagement in New York City.

You know, I never really got in to Nirvana but I would never say they were no good. I look back now and listen to a couple of their cd's and they sound better to me now..

I liked Foo Fighters when Pat Smear was in the band. He also played on Nirvana's Mtv's unplugged.

That's like saying a third rate band that rips off a second rate coverband is better than the second rate cover band, which is pretty much how I feel about these two bands.

all dave grohl does live is instead of actually singing he just screams "YEAH" and "CMON" its the gayest thing ever. also even comparing foo fighters and nirvana is absolutely ridicilous. Dave Grohl is an amazing drummer and he used to be able to write good pop songs and thats it. once your neck veins bulge out and you scream "I GOT ANOTHER CONFESSION TO MAKE" youre dead to me..
