Epitaph-signed rapper Sage Francis has completed work on a video for "Got Up This Morning," a track from his upcoming full length Human The Death Dance, due on May 8th. Francis worked with director Stony Sharp on the footage, which features guest performances from Canadian alt hip-hop star Buck 65 and jazz/folk chanteuse Jolie Holland. The video also features cameos by Slug from Atmosphere, Brother Ali, and DiVinCi from Sol.iLLaquists of Sound. The clip is expected to hit the net soon.

I'm excited to hear the album. It's also really cool that he's touring with Buddy Wakefield, good exposure for one of the best performance poets in the country.
