MVD has set a June 05, 2007 release date for Live, a new DVD featuring Chicago legends, The Jesus Lizard.
The disccaptures the original quartet in 1994 playing to a packed crowd at the Venus De Milo in Boston, MA. In addition, the producers have added five live songs recorded at CBGBs.

This band should've been huge, they were so intense live and completely fucked up, it's a shame they didn't last however, it was fun while it did!

is this the show where yow gets a bottled chucked at his head and continues to play? I saw some video of it on youtube and it was awesome, would be well worth owning. 1+ Reply

i could usually care less for band dvd's, but im super stoked on this one! i'm glad jesus lizard is finally getting the respect they deserve, with bands emulating their sound and things like this being released.
