After they wrap up their upcoming tour with the Arctic Monkeys, Nashville's Be Your Own Pet will begin work on their next album. The band had this to say:

We've all been writing for the next record. Everything is getting really exciting around here! We go into the studio with Steven Mcdonald (Redd Kross) in June and then we will have the record in your hands in following months. (fall release date!?)

The band released Be Your Own Pet last year on Thurston Moore's Universal-distributed Ecstatic Peace record label. The album made many year end lists including one at Punknews.org.
