Paint It Black mouthpiece Dan Yemin has announced in a MySpace blog that he has nearly finished scheduling the tracking and mixing sessions that will take place this August for the band's third full-length on Jade Tree.

As well, Yemin posted lyrics for two songs in blog updates.

Yemin's other band just embarked on a tour with the Draft.

PARADISE
Liar, liar.
With devils conspire.
You're tapping wires and setting fires.
Too tired to do what our conscience requires.
That's what you get when you preach to the choir…
When the smoke gets thick, you're quick to trick your constituents.
It's like "touch me, I'm sick" it's just the carrot and the stick again.
Their cultural blight, just for spite, we left a stain on.
The uphill fight's the pilot light that keeps the flame on.
Into the gears we throw a wrench,
it's just a simple act of self-defense.

SACCHARINE
Lowered expectations met
Once were wolves, now domesticated pets
Hijacked syntax, footprints on our backs
I guess, in retrospect, we should have covered our tracks
But we see what's underneath,
the empty threat when they bare their teeth
Like priests, we speak a dead language, written in sand
We need a new lexicon, devils be damned.
Now M.B.A.'s twist the DNA.
I guess the kids have had their say?
