When I worked at another museum we had a video game exhibit and the curator (who made a living judging video games and their relevance) told me hands down "Golden Eye" was the biggest leap forward in first person shooters. There may be games today that have better graphics, etc., but Golden Eye set a whole new standard for FPS and as such should always hold a spot in peoples hearts, no matter how old.

I will agree that Golden Eye was far much more fun to play and did have better levels (they were based upon the movie sets which was AWESOME). However, Perfect Dark had bots, who I always enjoy to beat up on.

i hate fps games. i cant play them for shiiiitttt, dawg.

I own it. Mario Cart is much more entertaining. The story mode in CTR had pretty good depth though.

The best part of Perfect Dark is playing four player multiplayer with only tranquilizers. Good times

goldeneye is definately waaaaay better.perfect dark was good, but it was no goldeneye.

They're listed but it looks like tickets are offered through a variety of ticket outlets, probably all of the ticket services in the UK. If I could, I'd go to this, it sounds like it's going to be great and a chance to see this for a tremendous amount of people who never saw Crass to begin with.

Crass is a great band if you like punk rock. They embody a great mix of old school pop and grit, with had-hitting political lyrics. I find that people who "don't like them" haven't really heard them but are judging them based on their distaste for their over-accessorized uber punk fans.

I listened to Best Before 1984 and Penis Envy last night. It's good to listen to while writing finals because it accurately represents the completely fucked state of my mind at that point.

There's definitely some Crass that's really good. There's also a bunch that's really bad. They were as much an art project as they were anything else, and I'd say they mostly succeeded with it.

Crass' music is awesome. They had the best guitar sound in punk.

Please log in so I can see what your top rated bands/albums are. If I remember correctly they're all generic epifat and melodic hardcore crap. You really have no room to judge. Seriously.

I didn't say it was the only reason, but our overall lack of passion for international politics helps to pave the way for much of the bullshit that occurs today. Rather than hang out in my parent's basement, I have done quite a bit of international traveling (with my wife) and we were both struck by how much worldly politics dominates the media and culture. It sucks that so many of us care far more about music and the fruit of Anna Nicole's loins than worldly struggles. Oh, and stop being so angry.

1) This page is the furthest thing from underground punk, so if you're getting your "underground" punk info from this page, you truly are uninformed, by the way, punk is dead
2) Being politically minded is hip and trendy - open any magazine and see a loud-mouthed celbrity talking out of their ass, not too mention know-nothing musicians
3) The Republican party and Democratic party are both incredibly flawed and corrupt, but it's easy to jump on the bandwagon of "I Hate Bush"

I was in talks with the UK Subs about a show 4 years ago or so, their guarantee was about the same with all the beer and hotel rooms they wanted.

Should we make a list of all the stupid items and outrageous cash demands punk bands have.

their bills include a long time of heavy drug and alcohol addiction added to whatever other bullshit they debt they already have.

Another thing to remember dude that if a band has a steady draw they have a rigth and DESERVE to get a payout as per their draw or the club will just keep it.If theyve managed to build that solid a folllowing after 10-30 years more power to em. You would probably sit in your chair and think "they should give it away man!!!" Do you know how much it costs to hust cover airfare,visa's,and passports???? Hows about buyin a USED van when you arrive from over seas...that means some repair cash is as important as beer money. Shit my buddies band has a 500 guarentee and they aint as long in the tooth and storied as Conflict or the UK Subs.They make a living but they aint rich.
