Media: Municipal Waste post new song

Municipal Waste have posted a new song online from what appears to be a forthcoming release entitled The Art of Partying. You can check out "Headbanger Face Rip" on the band's MySpace.

The band released Hazardous Mutation in 2005.

I really like thrash and metal but Municipal waste is terribly overrated. Lawrence arms are far better.

While I am a big fan of both TLA and MW, in terms of overratedness, The Lawrence Arms take the cake for me. Nothing wrong with them as a band, but they get ridiculous accolades.

You people REALLY need to listen to better Thrash if you think Municipal Waste is good.

Try Hellnation, Spazz, Senseless Apocolypse, Cripple bastards, capitalist casualties.

All far better than this sub par band.

I like all the mentioned bands (haven't heard of Cripple Bastards or Senseless Apocalypse, but I'll check them out) but the appeal of Municipal Waste is that they're REALLY FUN. And they don't seem to take themselves that seriously. I wouldn't think Capitalist Casualties would be as fun to hang out with than the Waste.

Please. None of those bands even sound like the fun thrash punk style that Municipal Waste plays. Many of those bands you mentioned either have a more power violence or grind influence. The guy above is right about MW being a lot more fun and lighthearted. They also have better sense in them to not throw 45 songs on a CD too. Municipal Waste straight up reminds me of an updated version of D.R.I. and that's not a bad thing.
