The Kinison reform as Ballenas, debut three songs

Members of defunct quintet the Kinison have resurfaced with a new project and a new sound. The new outfit, dubbed Ballenas, includes Sam Sundos from the Sundelles, Bryan Swarthout from 401 Waterman and Christopher Lewis and Guy (Bub) Knight from The Kinison. You can find three new songs on their Myspace page.

The band broke up in November of 2005, a year after releasing What Are You Listening To? through Travis Barker's Atlantic imprint, La Salle.

I once saw The Kinison open up for Dillenger Escape Plan. Needless to say, they didn't fit in.

I saw them on that tour too. During the last song, the singer put on his jacket and sulked off the stage while the band was still playing. Pretty weak.

The Kinison SUCKED.

The drummer did join another band called Madison Bloodbath and they are the shit. They sound nothing like the Kinison too... which is good. I'm pretty sure they're a band many here could get into.
