"Initial Records just announced the signings of Ultimate Fakebook (former major label darlings who have an EP with Reggie and the Full Effect coming out soon), The Reputation (featuring Elizabeth Elmore of Sarge), and is rumored to be signing a few other bands (shhh) but no announcements will be made as of yet."
It's time to get an Initial Records news logo too, methinks... Initial Records (4 comments)

First of all, Ultimate Fakebook is not a pop-punk band as would know if you have listened to any of their music. They have never claimed to be punk or to have anything to do with it; their goal has always been to be the best rock n' roll band that they can be. Because, in the words of Eric (singer), "...we remember when music could lift you up instead of beating you senseless..." Now, I know some of you might know think that they are some Weezer-like band, but they are not (they're 100 times more talented). I really despise most pop music, but UFB is really good! Download their songs at www.noisomerecords.com, then go to 'audio vault' and then UFB. Enjoy! | Features

I knew the Fakebook wouldn't last on Epic. They aren't pretty enough to be a famous pop punk band.
