Angels and Airwaves relaunch website, post weird, weird messages

Former Blink-182 member Tom Delonge and his Angels & Airwaves project have relaunched their website in anticipation of their upcoming record, I-Empire.

The new site features what appears to be some new music as well as samples of lyrics. Delonge recently made a series of cryptic statements about the band, noting:

I have a lot of incredible things happening here and music is just one part of it. A couple of years ago I started talking about what I wanted to do with music and the things that I wanted [the band] to lead the charge on and it's all happening. It's taken a lot of money, effort and technology but it's happening.

The band released their debut, We Don't Need to Whisper last year.

It's amazing to see so much hate for a band that is not bad, but OK. They don't suck and they certainly don't live up to their own hype. You guys should spend your time hating bad bands like Panic! At the Disco or Fall Out Boy.
That being said, whether this band is great, good, mediocre, bad or horrible, it doesn't change the fact that I literally LOL'd at some of the comments on the site. This guy has really lost it.

Meh, their debut album was pretty mediocre, although it had a couple bright spots. Overall though it was like Tom either went crazy/ smoked opium and took the b-sides from the last blink record and was like "i'm gunna take these songs, put needlessly long instrumental introductions and like some fuckin spacey sounds in the middle at its going to be the greatest thing ever".

I'm thinking within the next three years delong is going to create quasi-religion/cult to rival scientology. Take that John Travolta!
