Plain White T's parody earns smackdown

Plain White T's new single, "Hey There Delilah", recently received a makeover courtesy of the wildly popular Kevin & Bean show on Los Angeles radio station KROQ. A song, written and recorded by producer Psycho Mike, titled "Hey There Vagina" was the most requested song on the station since it debuted Tuesday.

While there were no complaints from listeners, the stations legal team has banned the show from playing the popular parody, claiming it was "indecent."

Granted, the lyrics are somewhat NSFW, particularly if you work at Focus on the Family.

Nothing like being king of a dying format. And gauging from what little I know of Kevin and Bean, I'm guessing it's not even as funny as the original.
I actually heard this song and thought it was Rocky Votolato at first, and I was really let down by how bad it was. When I hear it was Plain White T's it made sense.

This is really not funny. I mean, I find the original song to be irritating beyond belief (I guess this is the acoustic whiny song of the year), but this is just juvenile.
