Hot Cross has announced simply on MySpace that they've broken up:

Thanks for everything. We are indefinitely inactive as of 7/6/07. No reason to get into why this is happening. Just know we appreciate your support over the last seven years.

The band released the A New Set Of Lungs EP, Cryonics, a split EP with Light the Fuse and Run and the Fair Trade and Farewells EP through Level Plane Records and most recently Risk Revival through Hope Division Records.
