Rilo Kiley: “Under the Blacklight”

Rilo Kiley has launched a full album stream of their upcoming new album. The record is titled Under the Blacklight and is due out August 21, 2007. It is the follow-up to More Adventurous which was released in 2004.

same here. The "Apathy...." and "Greatest Stroy" seem a little slower and remind me of Alkaline Trio on "From Here to Infirmary".

i too have the album. and i think its prettty awesome.

its much more soul and R&B the whole way through, but that doesnt make it bad. The moneymaker is one of the worst songs on the album, but it still fits. overall, i really like the album a lot.

I still love her voice... I just wish they had gone in a different direction. There was so much promise on Takeoffs and Execution.

agreed. i thought the last album was "okay" and by "okay" i mean "okay". nothing special at all. "execution of all things" holds the record, along side The Velvet Teen's "Out of the Fierce Parade" as my favorite album to fall asleep to. although lately its been "Cotton Teeth" by The Snake The Cross The Crown.
