Media: Jimmy Eat World posts first sample of “Chase the Light”

Jimmy Eat World have posted the first sample of music from their upcoming full length. The record is titled Chase This Light and is due out October 16, 2007. The album was produced by Butch Vig (Against Me!, Nirvana) The record will be the follow up to 2004's Futures and 2005's Stay on My Side Tonight EP. .

dude. they have been on a major since, at least, static prevails. i don't think they EVER claimed to be punk or underground. their albums have always been big. they're just good rock.

I feel Butch Vig is a producer who is more concerned with putting is sound and style stamp on a band than with actually capturing the bands sound at its best.
