The 30th Anniversary Of Punk as documented by Time

Time Magazine has put together a very interesting history of punk rock. The multimedia presentation celebrates the 30th Anniversary of punk rock, which many people agree really took off in 1977 with the releases of Never Mind the Bollocks, The Clash and Leave Home.

In its brief running time, it's very thorough, taking note of most figures including the aforementioned, as well as Iggy Pop and Patti Smith. There are some potentially controversial omissions (Damned Damned Damned earns no mention despite it's significance to that early era).
