Pansy Division have announced an October tour. The long-running queer-pop-punk act released The Essential Pansy Division last year on Alternative Tentacles.

it's kind of interesting that they are playing in a church in PA considering that churches usually shun the gays. it would be cool if they came closer to VA too.

Speaking of Alternative Tentacles, I'm sure people have heard by now, but if ya haven't: http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1568781&vid=174600

They're touring supporting The Avengers (!), so they don't have any control over the dates. Can you guys add that they're touring with The Avengers to the news story? That'd be great!

The cover was pretty cool but the highlight for me was seeing all the frat-fucks punching the air, the girls looking bored at first then attempting to dance to the song, and finally...Serj and his dance moves...priceless.

oops. meant to put my comment above in the little side thread about the DK cover by Foo Fighters and Serj.

They put on a hella fun show that last time I saw them. Where is Reggie's Live in Chicago?

Sounded good.....but not a tenth as intense as the DK's were.....ever see videos of Jello back in the day? He would have molested that crowd! Those jocks and teeny boppers would have been mind raped! haha.......sounded good nonetheless. Serj is a cool guy and I hope his solo album is good. It's just too bad this setting seemed so safe and conservative.....it's funny putting this video on side by side with a video of the DKs performing it in 1979........it's almost like the life has been sucked out it now. The kids at this MTV show look so complacent and oblivious I almsot wanted to hit them! |
