Jim Bryson joins the Weakerthans for upcoming tour

Ottawa–based singer songwriter Jim Bryson has joined the Weakertans as a touring member. He'll be acting as what he describes as a "touring utility side person" for the remainder of the year. Aside from his solo career Bryson regularly plays in Kathleen Edwards' band. The Weakerthans also expanded their touring line up during the Reconstruction Site era, enlisting Toronto duo FemBots at the time.

The Weakerthans new full length Reunion Tour hits stores on September 25, 2007. Their supporting tour of Canada and the US with the Last Town Chorus kicks off later this month.
