Four Star Alarm have announced that their drummer, Mike Horick, has left the band to take a job in Los Angeles. Replacing Horick will be Eric Kane, perhaps best known for his work with is other band, Strike Anywhere. Kane will not be leaving Strike Anywhere.

Four Star Alarm will not be touring until November, so as to give Kane time to finish up a tour with Strike Anywhere. They will, however, be making a planned appearance at The Fest 6 in Gainseville, Florida in October.

Four Star Alarm have just released a new 7" through Underground Communiqué.

Our Drummer Mike Horick will be leaving Four Star and moving to LA. Starting next spring Mike will begin filming the new season of "Hogan Knows Best". He will be reprising the role of Hulk Hogan and depending on the ratings may expand his role into that of Mrs. Hogan too. Were all pretty excited for him. In all seriousness Mike has great job waiting there for him and we wish him all the best!

So you may ask, "Who can replace "The Beast"?" Well FSA's new drummer is none other than Eric Kane!!! Erik fucking rocks and will splitting time between FSA and his other band Strike Anywhere. Unfortunately with Strike Anywhere on tour and the changeover we wont be playing any shows until early November but nonetheless we couldn't be more excited. We are going to play The Fest 6 in Gainesville, FL on October 28th! A good friend Mike Pinaud will be filling in on drums for this show. Mike and Jeff have known each other for years and have played together in Tomorrows Gone and The Story So Far.

Also we have been working on some new songs for our long overdue full-length release. We know its been about a year since the release of our self titled EP but don’t worry because we have 10 songs finished and are working on 4 more. Trust us it'll be worth the wait. In more music news we do have a new 7" out and it is available currently through Underground Communiqué and No Idea Records, but soon Interpunk and Vinyl Collective. There were only 600 pressed, 100 on blue, 500 or so on black vinyl and it features a live version of our new song, "Cities in Dust" as well as their cover of the SUGAR song "Tilted" Well that about sums it up for now. We will try to keep this updated more often and keep you guys up to date on all the great things we have coming up!
