Debbie Harry takes you to Punk Rock Pre-School

Debbie Harry, frontwoman of Blondie and punk-expert put together what is being called Punk Rock Pre-School. Debbie sits down with a number of fresh faced youngsters and schools them on punk, new wave, pooping on stage, and finally "is punk rock dead" and "is my life a total sham?" The show ends with the traditional punk rock "thank you."

since when was Blondie punk rock?????? I mean, she has about as much relation to Punk Rock as Sting and The Police........which is very little outside of the trendy new wave style of the time.

blondie was in the group of bands that started the new york punk scene. others include television, the stooges, the ramones, and patti smith.

The Stooges were from Detroit and came up about 4 years prior to the rest of those... you're right about the rest though. I would say Blondie is punk, but awesome with whatever classification.

Who the hell is this supposed to be made for? Most 8 yr. olds that I know of aren't even interested in music yet - let alone 'punk' or 'new wave. My niece thumbs her nose at anything that isn't related to Dora the Explorer.
