As always, Vinyl File is brought to you by Ben Conoley.
This week's Vinyl File has news on upcoming albums from Dillinger Escape Plan, Minus the Bear, Saves the Day and more. Click Read More for the full article. THE PUNKNEWS.ORG VINYL FILE First things first this week is that Triple Crown has found a few boxes of Brand New's highly sought after album Deja Entendu. It can be purchased, for now, here. Only 1,000 copies of the album were ever pressed, so don't expect this opportunity to last. The first of the Square Dance series from Me First and the Gimme Gimmes 7", Dolly went up for sale through Fat Wreck Chords website yesterday. As of press time the black square versions of the album, which are only available from Fat, were still available, but it's a limited release and won't be available for long. The next title in the series has been announced as well. Cash will be released in November and feature covers of Johnny Cash's 'Sunday Morning Coming Down' and 'I Still Miss Someone.' Along with the Me First release, Fat also opened up shop on the first of the Fat Classic Colored Vinyl Series. 524 purple copies of Lagwagon's 1992 debut LP, Duh are available at the Fat Store now. This is being followed sometime in the future by a Peruvian white re-pressing of NOFX's The Longest Line. Saves the Day will be releasing their new album, Under the Boards on vinyl - something Vagrant Records has promised they will be doing for all future releases - and as a special treat will be releasing a box set featuring Under the Boards, 2006's Sound the Alarm and Daybreak which is slated for release next year, as a three piece box set. Bridge Nine Records have set up a pre order for Crime In Stereo's new album, Is Dead. The album drops on October 23. A little known band amongst vinyl collectors, Isis, have made more details available about their previously announced box set. The band will be teaming up with Conspiracy and Robotic Empire to produce a special commemorative box set featuring their entire studio output on twelve vinyl LPs. The box will include an oversized poster insert and cloth-bound, foil-stamped custom box and be limited to 600 copies worldwide. 300 will be available through Robotic Empire in the US and 300 will be available through Conspiracy Records in Europe. All records will be on 180 gram heavyweight black vinyl. Albums featured in the box include Mosquito Control, The Red Sea, Celestial (double), Sgnl < 05, Sawblade, Celestial (Double), Oceanic (Double), Panopticon (Double) and In the Absence of Truth (Double). All releases will be housed in newly designed covers with artwork created specifically for this release as well as an original Aaron Horkey design on the box set's cover. The labels involved have remained silent on the subject, but promise to provide more details at a later date. Vinyl File is currently planning an Isis retrospective that is guaranteed to be long, complicated and exciting. A split between The Sword and Sweden's Witchcraft is available. This should tide fans of The Sword over until they release their new album, which they are currently recording. The 12" is being handled by Kemado Records and features three new Witchcraft songs as well as an original from The Sword and a cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song.' Underground Communiqué and Team Science Records have teamed up to release a new 7" from New Bruises. The first pressing is of 1000 copies split equally between white and yellow vinyl. 50 of each color come with a special silk-screened cover, only available at Vinyl Collective. In more Team Science news, there is another pre-order available for Jonbenet's Ugly/Heartless. It comes on beer (/175) and orange (/225) and black (/100) colored vinyl with Vinyl Collective releases coming with silk-screened covers. As we previously announced, Richmond's the Riot Before and Broadway Calls are selling their new split on tour. The release features two new songs from each band and was released on Say-10 Records, a new label promising more releases in early 2008. Despite releasing Marriage in July, Attack in Black have announced that they have a new record ready to go. The Curve of the Earth will be released in mid-November and the band says it is going to be available on vinyl. 1-2-3-4 Go! is having a pre-fest sale. Records available include a split 7" between Bent Outta Shape and Snuggle, a split between Fifth Hour Hero and The Sainte Catherines and Whiskey Sunday's Maldecido 7" EP. Minus the Bear have finally releassed their remix album Interpretaciones del Oso on vinyl. Vinyl Collective has issued the album on three different colors including black (/500), root beer float (/250) and a mystery color limited to 150. In other Minus the Bear news, Suicide Squeeze has printed two more colors of the band's first full-length Highly Refined Pirates. In addition to the previously available green and black pressings there are now 300 copies of "gold with a little white and blue" and "white with a little blue and black." The records are available for pre-order now and are to ship on December 7. Ire Works, the latest effort from Dillinger Escape Plan is up for pre-order from SmartPunk. Pre-orders come with an autographed poster. Relapse Records is expected to sell it through their own store in the near future. (50 comments)

I didn't know Deja Entendu was so limited. I easily bought a copy from Interpunk only a few months ago.

The song "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down" isn't even a Johnny Cash song...it's a Kris Kristofferson song that Johnny covered.
