Ferret signs Gwen Stacy

Ferret has announced the signing of Indianapolis, IN-based experimental hardcore outfit Gwen Stacy. The band is currently in the studio with producer Brian McTernan (Cave In, Snapcase, Thrice) and Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, the Bled) recording their full-length debut album The Life I Know which is due out February 05, 2008.

I've never listened to Gwen Stacy, but Ferret released Dead Heart's most recent album and it was pretty good. So, have an itsy bittsy little bit of faith in Ferret's tastes.

Whenever i see Experimental Hardcore i think Circle Takes the Square.... and that is followed by disappointment.

They were almost cool. I was able to look past the bad
FOB clothes and dumb hairdos and They had some riffage and
some Pantera-ish squeels going on there, til they reached
the Chorus and whined like little babies and then I turned it
off.
