Those forecasting the death of the label may be waiting a bit longer, as Radiohead has signed to XL. On the heels of the independent, donation-only release of their new album, In Rainbows, the band struck a deal for the physical release of the record.

I was under the impression that the deal with XL is for distribution outside the US. Any word on a US version?

[i]In Rainbows[/i] just might be their best album. It is seriously fantastic.

It would have been cool to see a band of this magnitude to stay labelless...i'm pretty sure they could have pulled it off, but i do understand that they probably need some significant tour support fundage. oh well |
