Q and Not U seeking DVD footage

Although broken up, Q and not U are looking to put together a DVD. The band's former members are looking for live footage collected by fans over the years.

Dischord Records is encouraging people to email them if they think they have any footage that may be useful.

The members of Q and not U have been keeping pretty busy since the band broke up. Harris Klahr is doing his own work under the name President and recently released a digital only album. John Davis is playing in Georgia James who recently released an album on Saddle Creek. Finally, Chris Richardson is performing as Ris Paul Ric and released an album through Academy Fight Song Records.

I saw this band in about 2004 in Cape Town, South Africa. They played last around 12:00 to 20 of us. We sat around in chairs and watched. They were weird and no one knew what the fuck was going on.

I saw them twice in Fort Reno in DC during the free summer concert series. Great great band live.

Time 1 - I got so drunk that I was on my hands and knees in a patch of what I later found out to be Poison Ivy throwing up through the last half of the movie.

Time 2 - I did not drink and witnessed the awesomeness of the drummer continuing to play while the other two took one of his cymbols of the stand, made their way through the crowd banging the cymbol, and then proceeded to bury the cymbol in Fort Reno.

Ahhhh my youth..

This is really exciting, this band was amazing live. They got a little weird, and less drummy towards the end, but No Kill... was amazing.

I am really looking forward to this. I've never seen them, but have been a fan ever since they put out No kill, No beep beep.
