Tours: Bane / With Honor (reunion shows)

Bane and the original lineup of With Honor will be playing four shows together in January. The last of the four shows will be a benefit for Mike Gang, who passed away earlier this month. His friends in These Green Eyes addressed that sad news in this blog entry.

Should be a one off thing, most of the guys in With Honor are now busy with Ambitions. I cannot wait for these shows!!

Bane is by no means edge. They started intending to have a straight edge message, but their drummer broke edge, so they decided to not wear any labels. They basically just have a positive message. I suggest you listen to both of them, Bane is my favorite band.

I'm not really sure how in this day and age one into hardcore can not be familiar with Bane, but okay...

as for With Honor, they have/had some edge members but were never a straight edge band.

I thought it was kind of inevitable/obvious that With Honor was broken up. Ambitions was doing full time touring and With Honor didn't really do anything after Todd left. You don't always need an "official" announcement from a band to know this.

Damnit play this backward state (IN)!!! I fucking love WH. To be honest, I personally enjoy them more than Bane. Much more solid catalog aside from the new album where as Bane's is pretty spotty throughout. Regardless, tons of respect are obviously granted for Bane. Super serial.

Okay, why isn't there a Milwaukee show? Isn't With Honor from Milwaukee? They were supposed to play one of 7 Angels 7 Plagues reunion shows in Milwaukee and I didn't see them. Fucking dammit, I miss Bane. With Honor is a great band too.

Kinda pissed im not going to see this, but whatev. The only time I ever saw either of these bands, they both played together anyways, so I guess im good. Question: is the original singer of WH singing on This Is Our Revenge? or was he gone by then? Im a fucking idiot for not being able to tell just by listening.

Nah, that was him on that record. He left pretty shortly after that one though, and then they brought up some skinny kid who was a roadie for somebody. He kept getting knocked down by pile-ups and it was hilarious. Also, the dude kind of dressed like Aaron from Bane, so that was pretty funny too.

Last dec 30 (almost january) was the Bane 10th anniversary show (with a mini Reach the Sky reunion) and now this year we get Bane and a With Honor reunion. Winter may suck in MA but the shows are always awesome. I'll be there and I'll be the fat kid not getting caught while stage diving (again).

That last With Honor EP was brilliant.
I really wish they stayed together or got a new frontman. Ambitions sux in comparison unfortunately.
