Throwdown have released the new video from their recent album, Venom & Tears. The video is hosted by MTV so it's only available to Americans, but you can check it out here.

When did Throwdown turn into Pantera 2.0? I mean, I wasn't a huge fan of their old stuff butblatantly trying to mimic Pantera is even worse.

wow, retarded. i actually didn't mind the song before seeing the video, but that just ruined it for me. it's funny because Venom and Tears is more developed musically and lyrically than their other shit but it's not nearly as fun to listen to. i mean, stuff like Forever and Hopeless may be cliche or tough-guy or whatever, but it was still a lot of fun. the new stuff is just serious and boring. and if i wanted to see 30 year olds headbanging, i'd go to a metallica concert. no, actually i'd just stay home. anyways, i can understand they wanted to try something different, but they should really go back to this Throwdown : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfdV6nYI-Rg

i saw throwdown at the last warped tour. i've always disliked them, but a bunch of people told me that they had one of those live shows that you just have to see. after a fight broke out, and the singer called the crowd "a bunch of faggots," i started talking to one of them about fights at shows and, he talked a lot about how he hates "hardcore kids" because they think they're better than everyone. i think this might have a lot to do with their change in sound.

I always make jokes about Throwdown playing my birthday party. I've never actually heard them. And I'm going to keep it that way.

Honestly i think they pulled off the metalcore to full on metal transition pretty well. they still retain some of their old style. this video aint bad, it blends in with the theme of the album. I do understand where you guys are coming from, however.

I've been told many times to check this band out. I was expecting to hear a more hard core sound. Call me old fashion but I prefer Gorilla Biscuits.

Oh God, this is a downgrade from Haymaker, This cd is soooooooo bad. Could they want to be pantera anymore?? |
