Touch & Go/Quarterstick Records has signed Louisville-based Dead Child. The label will be releasing the full length debut from the band. The record is titled Attack and is due out April 08, 2008. The band promises a doom metal sound with "absolutely no cookie monster vocals"

If they added a bit more mixed meter and dissonance I'd be all over this. Sounds to me like someone mixed early Maiden with early Sick of It All. Definitely like the fact that they don't have cookie monster vocals. That shit was tired 10 years ago.
