Gearhead Records has signed Denver, CO three piece the Mansfields. The band, formed in 1998 in Colorado Springs, is described as a "hooky cocktail mix of rock n roll, glitter, punk and rockabilly." A full length release is scheduled for February of 2008, planned to clock in at 30 minutes including the b-movie themed track "Who wants to be A Zombie Anyways?" That song will feature guest vocalist Tura Satana, the actress who played Varla in Russ Meyer's 1965 cult film Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!.
