This column aims to keep you informed with upcoming releases as well as spotlighting interesting releases, your favorite band's own collections and labels with an history of vinyl releases worth talking about. With the holidays behind us and nothing to do except digest that turkey and stuffing, we're pleased to bring you some info on upcoming vinyl releases from the likes of Gaslight Anthem, Fake Problems and Paint it Black.

Lifeline Records has a large number of albums lined up for release in the near future including Deathcycle's second album Prelude to Tyranny. They have also repressed Midnight in America, the latest album from Modern Life is War. The latest pressing of 1,000 are on transparent blue vinyl.

Me First and The Gimme Gimmes have two more releases left in their "square dance" 7" series. Kenny will be released on January 22 while jerry is set to follow on February 19. In other Fat news it looks as though Lagwagon's 1994 album Trashed will be the next in the Fat re-release series. No word on colors or date yet.

No Idea Records is offering pre-orders for the final Planes MIstaken for Stars album. We Ride to Fight is a 2xLP and will ship in January. It contains 24 songs, including the entire self-titled album from the band as well as Knife in the Marathon, Spearheading the Sin Movement, Fucking Fight and a number of out-takes.

Jacob Bannon, best known for his duties in Converge and as owner of Deathwish Inc. will be releasing his first solo effort. The Blood of Thine Enemies will be available as a one-dided 7" with an etched b-side.

The Gaslight Anthem are prepared to release their follow-up to this year's Sink or Swim. Senor and the Queen will feature four new songs and will come as a 2x7" care of Sabot Productions.

Fake Problems are going to be releasing a new 7" to follow up 2007's How Far Our Bodies Go. Viking Wizard Eyes Wizard Full of Lies will come out via Goodfriends Records and will feature 3 new songs on black(/100), black/silver(/100) and silver (/800) vinyl.

Paint it Black will be releasing their third album, New Lexicon in another seven or eight weeks, but people who show up to their January 6 record release show in Philadelphia will get a special 7", a one-sided disc featuring the song 'Goliath' on one side and an etching on the b-side. It will feature silk-screened covers and will only be available at that show.

Dischord Records has repressed the two Minor Threat 12"s on colored vinyl. The self-titles album in on green vinyl while Out of Step is on white. Each pressing is limited to 2000.

Asbestos Records has recently signed another musical project from Bomb the Music Industry! frontman Jeff Rosenstock. Pegasuses XL'a fourth album The Antiphon will be available on vinyl in February.
