Media: Panic! At the Disco: "We're So Starving"

Panic! At the Disco have posted the first song from their as-yet untitled full length. The record is due out March 25, 2008. It is the follow-up to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out which was released in 2005.

The track represents a rough mix and is expected to "undergo some changes" in the coming weeks. You can check it out here. (The last song in the player)

Apparently I don't have to worry. I'm guessing this is just something to shut up their fat 14-year old fans, but seriously no one cares.
They wrote a shit album that they tried to say was new and different, the label told them to shit can it and now they're working feverishly to make a clone of their last album. Sweet!

Oh my god, there's just something about this band and Fallout Boy that appeals to double-chinned girls with beady eyes, gross lip piercings, and hoodies. That #1 Pete Wentz Fan thing from your scene sucks was dead on. I used to date this girl at GMU and half the kids there were chunky scene monkeys.

I'm pretty sure this is a joke, that they just recorded a joke song about their progress on the album, but they did call themselves a "wet dream for the web scene" on their very first album before they even had any fans, so they might be egotistical enough to make this a real song.

you just admitted that you actually listened to their album didn't you...

actually in all honesty, i own it, and liked it for about a month after it came out. then they were all over the music channels like flies on shit and i soon got fed up of it.

that said, this song is far shittier than anything on that album, to such a degree that i hope they release it as a single and cause the biggest simulatanous pants-pissing laughterfest in the history of everything ever.

Ok, so a few things...

1. They cannot seriously release that song...I believe they just put that out there to appease their fans, which brings me to topic #2...

2. Did you read any of the comments that their fans left. I didn't see any males commenting and all of the ladies were definitely stoked on the "new sound" and thought it was so amazing and wonderful. They just can't be serious. I mean really if Hot Water Music spent forever trying to make a new record and then posted some lame ass song about writing songs for me, I would tell thm to quit dicking around and get back to work.

3. The best thing about that mess was that some girl's myspace moniker is "Hispanic at the Disco"...I thought that was clever. Gave me a chuckle at least. Also, I think that would be a great name for a PATD cover band with traditional Mexican instruments.

I think its sad that the only person who will stick up for P!atD is a chatspeaking idiot. There ARE intelligent fans of this band. I for one, like P!atD because of the message the lyrics send, the obvious dance beat and sound, and because of the interesting combination of notes in the mix. Urie's Voice isnt bad either. I dont like them because they had a breif brush with fame. I dont like them because theyre "emo."

As far as the new album and the song goes, its about time. Releasing this is a very characteristic move for them, I think. It just shows that theyre still around, and still working on music, and everyone should shut the hell up. Then again, this is probably also a publicity stunt, Which in my opinion, is just as normal for them.

My friend lent me their first album. I'll tell you what, this is actually pretty good music for if you have a terrifying nightmare about witches and need something unscary to listen to in order to get back to sleep again.
