Tours: Boredoms

Legendary Japanese noise-rock act Boredoms have announced a number of tour dates this summer and fall that will take them through Canada, the US and Europe. The band most recently delivered five seminal 1990s Boredoms records in the US with four surfacing for the first time ever.

The long-running band released Seadrum/House of Sun via Vice in 2005.

How the hell is this horrible band still around? I was subjected to their "noise-rock" when I saw Nirvana and the Meat Puppets in 1992 and again at a Soundgarden show. They are terrible. I wanted to smash the dude's face with his "talking pizza box". This isn't music, it isn't art, it's just shit.

They've put out stuff since then. Super Roots 9 was released about 10 months ago.

FINALLY PUNKNEWS POST SOMETHING ABOUT NOISE. Now all you need is a Wolf Eyes story and review and your on your way to actually covering all the kinds of punk music. Seriously this site is amazing it covers every sub genre of punk you can imagine but the noise/art/avant garde kinds stuff. Boredoms rule. If you didnt like one cd or one show you can't write them off everything they do is deffernt like the residents or liars. Everything they do is different.
