Propagandhi have posted their tentative 2008 roadmap:

welcome to the Chinese Year of the Rat! This is the first year in history that we are going to actually try to plan our year out rather than just do things randomly (don't worry, we have adults helping us). So our tentative schedule so far includes: going to Japan in spring*, perhaps going to Scandinavia in summer* and finally, recording a new record in September.

Last year, the band delivered Live from Occupied Territory: An Official Bootleg DVD.

Propagandhi is one of the only bands i've been into forever, that is still together, and never gotten the chance to see

i wish they could do a proper US tour just once!

that is crazy. i thought i was the only one. i have been into them since i was 16 and now i'm 27, and have never seen them. too bad for me fugazi falls into the same category.

I wont write off the possibility of seeing Propaghandi live just yet. I got hope. But I did get to see Descendents in 1996 for Everything Sucks tour with Suicide Machines. One of my 1st punk shows and it was the shit.

How long was their US tour last year? I finally got to see them live last year and they were flawless live. Seeing them live made me appreciate them more.

Seriously, I'm probably extremely wrong (feel free to correct) but I don't think they've played the Northeast since like 2000.

WORD! good to hear I'm not the only one at least... I thought maybe I was just missing them somehow. saw them back in who knows when at the Wetlands in NYC. I think it was the Today's Empires... tour. had to be a while ago cuz the Wetlands has been closed for long time now.

maybe we should start a petition?

I'm in the same boat, every other band i've been listening to for that long i have checked off my list. but they refuse to tour the US east coast, specifically the DC area. so fuck them

I'm probably gonna get a lot of shit for this, but:

After seeing them once a few years back and watching the live DVD, it kind of dissapoints me how 'punx' their crowds are. Other than a band t-shirt, the band doesn't embrace the punk image at all, yet it seems like a considerable amount of their fans are punx scenesters as opposed to regular ole people who like thought-provoking lyrics. In other words, the experience was more like a conglomeration of the downtrodden instead of the harbour for intellectual stimulation I had hoped. It just makes me realize that their messages really dont get out very far. Or maybe I'll just shallow for judging people by their looks. Opinions?
